The Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children a Service of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
The Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children provides a multidisciplinary, coordinated response to any child suspected of being a victim of Commercial Sexual Exploitation/Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. Available services include: forensic medical exams, follow-up medical exams, recorded forensic interviews, crisis intervention, behavioral health assessments and counseling, referral for services, and case coordination/follow-up with community partners. Telemedicine consultations are also available for children needing medical evaluations outside of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The Center for Safe and Healthy Children also offers prevention training and education via webinars and a self-paced computer-based training series.

Patients are seen by appointment only and must be referred by law enforcement, Department of Family and Children’s Services, Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia, or a by a primary care provider.
If the child needs emergency attention, full medical examinations are also available at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Emergency Departments at Scottish Rite, Hughes Spalding, and Egleston.
Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia
The Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia (CACGA) CSEC Response Team operates Georgia's statewide 24/7 trafficking hotline: 1-866-END-HTGA (1-866-363-4842). The hotline provides information to those who might be victims, assistance to law enforcement on the rescue of a victim, and referrals for victim assistance. The hotline operators will assist the caller in coordinating emergency services at all hours of the day and night for youth who may be a victim of exploitation or trafficking. Referrals can be made through the hotline, fax (678-401-5955), email ([email protected]), or their HIPAA-compliant online form (www.cacga.org/referral-form/).
Each Child Advocacy Center has forensic interviewers specially trained to conduct interviews with children who have been sexually exploited. Please contact your local Child Advocacy Center or go to http://www.cacga.org/centers/.
The Receiving Hope Center (RHC) is operated by Wellspring Living and is a short-term residential intake and treatment center for victims of sexual exploitation. Referrals to RHC may be coordinated through CACGA or directly to RHC via email at [email protected] or phone at 470-467-3669.
