A child who is resident of our county died in another county. Who reviews the case?

County CFR committees are only responsible for reviewing the deaths of those children who reside in their county.  Since children often die in counties where they do not reside, it is essential that committees/agencies work together across county lines to insure each CFR committee has the necessary information to complete the review.  If a child dies in your county, but does not reside there, please contact the coroner/committee chairperson in the county of residence to notify him/her of the death and get them the information they need.
